Vintage 15ct Rose Gold Opal & Diamond Brooch

This Vintage Victorian 15ct Rose Gold Opal & Diamond Brooch is a delicate late Victorian bar brooch from the 1880s, combining softly glowing opals with antique rose‑cut diamonds across a fine gold bar. It’s a romantic, light‑catching piece, finished with a traditional safety chain for extra security.

The brooch is formed as a slender rose‑gold bar, its centre set with three round opals of about 4.5mm each, arranged in a small floral or trefoil cluster that shows gentle flashes of blue, green and pastel fire as it moves. At each end of the bar, a leaf‑like motif is set with old rose‑cut diamonds, their domed, faceted tops giving a softer, antique sparkle that beautifully contrasts with the opals’ milky iridescence.
