Swirling colour and a delicately detailed gold surround give this Vintage 9ct Rose Gold Paua Set Pendant a striking presence. Blue-green, pink and golden tones flow across the abalone shell, while the elongated, pointed-oval setting frames its richly patterned surface.

Dating to the 1920s, this New Zealand pendant features a paua centrepiece measuring approximately 25mm x 40mm. The 9ct rose gold mount follows the shell’s contours, with a finely notched border adding texture without distracting from the colourful centre.

The pendant measures approximately 28mm x 45mm and rests on a 45cm 9ct yellow gold cable-link chain. The fine chain complements the decorative mount, allowing the paua to remain the focal point.

Full of vintage character, this piece brings together the warmth of gold and the expressive colour of abalone—a distinctive addition to a collection of New Zealand jewellery.
